 Working with flame cutting equipment and hand welding techniques.

 Expertise with any metal frames, filling gaps or holes and repairing mechanical

parts.

 Interpreted blueprints, schematics and knowledge of welding techniques,

(Oxygen-Acetylene, Electric ARC, MIG & TIG), experienced on Lincoln Machine

tools and equipment.

 Repaired and installed metal parts of equipment.

 Skills in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment,

fixtures and structures.

 Monitored fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating, warping,

shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.

 Completed electronic processes paperwork such as checklists, stamping, blueprints,

barcoding, and shipping documentation.

 Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.

 Set up Mig/Arc welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding

Procedure Specification for Steel Strcutural Works.

 Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding

requirements.

Education Required:

 Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate).

Experience Required:

 At least 3 years gulf experience in steel structural fabrication work related

experience.

Skill Set Required:

 Experience with Electric ARC, MIG and TIG welding highly preferred for MS Steel.

 Experience with CNC press breaks, CNC folding machines and automatic saws highly

preferred.

 Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses.
