HOSE ASSEEMBLING TECHNICIAN 

1. Inspect & repair Hydraulic Hoses & fittings. 

1. 2. Inspect Hydraulic forklifts, Loading Arms, Hydraulic equipment & identify the connected hoses, fittings, hose assembly lengths as: a. Type of Hose
2. b. Type of Fittings (Type of threads, model, shape, style, degrees, Swivel, Female, Male, straight/elbow, Light Series, Heavy Series etc..)
3. c. Adapters, Hose Clamps, Quick Couplings,
4. d. Understanding of Pressure ratings, difference in Working pressure & Burst Pressure, Safety Factors.
5. e. Understands Hose cut-lengths

7. 3. Has ability to uninstall and install Hose assemblies on any Hydraulic equipment
8. 4. Has Understanding of screws, nuts, bolts, wrenches & tool kit of equipment to open & close during inspection of Hoses & Fittings at the site/on-field.
9. 5. Should have hand-on experience & know Hydraulic Hose Crimping, ferrules, die set and Crimping Machine knowledge
10. 6. Test Bench & testing knowledge
11. 7. Complete work safely, ensuring all safe work and environmental requirements are being met
12. 8. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure protective clothing is being used when required.
13. 9. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and measuring instruments are correctly calibrated.
14. 10. Ensure good time management is kept on all jobs and work carried out.
15. 11. Each and every bit of work/task during inspection, after inspection, during execution and after project/job order must be notified to us without missing anything verbally as well as in written.
16. 12. Must abide by the rules, procedures and company policies.

Experience & Qualifications: 

Atleast 3+ years of on-field experience & diploma. 

Strong troubleshooting & equipment inspection skills. 

Strong attention to detail. 

Strong customer service focus. 

Experience with quality control.
